Mexico Projects

Mexico has a free market economy with a mixture of modern and outmoded industry and agriculture increasingly dominated by the private sector. Mexicos per capita income is roughly one-third that of the US; income distribution remains highly unequal. Mexico is self-sufficient in most fruits and vegetables and in beans, rice, and sugar, and it is approaching self-sufficiency in meat and dairy products. Agriculture, aluminum refining, cement, iron, steel, machinery, mining, oil and natural gas are the major industries of Mexico. Its main trading partners are the USA, the EU and Japan.
